The resurgence of Norse mythology in global media has attracted Chinese Gen Z users, especially on BiliBili. This thesis explores the challenges and opportunities of building a Norse mythology ecosystem on the platform, focusing on creators, users, and algorithms. Through surveys, interviews, and data analysis, it finds strong interest but fragmented content, poor discoverability, and limited support for creators. To address this, it proposes a dedicated mythology hub, enhanced recommendation systems, and a light content ecosystem to encourage participation. These solutions aim to improve engagement and support sustainable cultural growth.
