This degree project explores intergenerational teaching, with a reversed perspective. Here the grandchildren are the teachers to their grandparents. As it happens more and more often, older adults rely on their families when it comes to support in digital technology. This project focuses on how to support grandchildren, so that they can support their grandparents better. By using service design methods, this project is built with the voices of the users. This project points out that a little comes a long way. By implementing special guidelines with grandchildren and their grandparents in mind, digital literacy becomes more accessible.Ultimately, this master project contributes to the field of Service Design by focusing on a niche area that needs to be explored better. It offers novelty by supporting informal teaching and promoting activity within family bounds. This project while based in research, puts emphasis on community and the value human connection brings.
