Originally from India, Som is a designer and facilitator with international experience spanning Asia and Europe. Before joining SDSI, he worked with a regional think tank in Malaysia and the Philippines, where he collaborated on social impact projects across Southeast Asia, with clients like UNDP, ILO and ADB. His work mainly focused on helping organizations apply design thinking and strategic foresight to enhance their initiatives and services.

After graduating from the programme, Som joined the SDSI faculty to teach Communication & Presentation, a course that helps students master the art of visual storytelling and persuasive communication. He blends service design expertise with his extensive experience as a freelance visual designer to guide students in crafting compelling presentations, pitch decks and design portfolios that effectively showcase their work, emphasizing clarity, audience engagement, and captivating narratives.
