Santiago Martínez

Santiago is a mechanical engineer turned project manager with experience spanning materials science, education, and international development. He began his career in R&D, earning two fellowships to research nanotechnology at Notre Dame before working at an advanced materials manufacturer. Driven to make a meaningful impact, he shifted to education, implementing STEM programs in a Micronesian public school and leading multicultural initiatives for universities and international agencies in Japan. Through leading the Awaji Youth Federation Fellowship, Santiago broadened his expertise by managing diverse teams to implement projects across arts, health, and sustainability. At his core, Santiago is dedicated to fostering collaboration and nurturing curiosity-driven, transformative learning.
