Sania Motlani
Sania is a communication and design practitioner from Pakistan who believes the deepest problems are rarely about a single point of friction; they live in the systems behind it. She is drawn to systems thinking as a way of seeing the whole: how policies, processes, and people connect to shape what communities can access. Her interest centers on marginalized communities, those systems routinely overlooked. Working in fintech, she used service design to redesign the connections between teams and processes, because lasting change comes from the whole, not one step. Her human-centered approach starts with how people move through a system, because for Sania, dignity and care are not the soft edges of design; they are its purpose.
At SDSI, she looks forward to moving toward whole service ecosystems and leading change that makes systems not just efficient, but equitable, responsive, and worthy of those who depend on them.
