Jia is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Lapland. Shes research interests focus on social design through an inclusive design lens. Her work draws insights from current societal conditions, remains attentive to future change, and respects diverse community values when engaging with societal challenges. She values the development of design strategies and is an enthusiast, thinker, and researcher in strategic design and service design, with an interest in SDGs related topics. As rapidly developing technologies continue to generate new forms of experience, she remains passionate about learning new skills and exploring new ways of thinking.
