Isabela Novaes Silva
Isabela is fascinated by how stories, images, and experiences shape the way people understand and engage with the world. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Tourism from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, and her current research sits at the intersection of tourism, communication, and visual attention, exploring audiovisual narratives, neurotourism, and predictive visual analysis.
At SDSI, she aims to investigate how attention, emotion, and mediated experiences shape meaning-making across physical and digital environments, and how visual and narrative communication influence audience engagement, memory, and emotional connection through the lens of service and experience design in cultural environments.
As an Erasmus+ Scholar, she hopes to combine service design, communication, and media studies to better understand the relationships between communication, experience, and memory.
