Gina is a service designer and criminologist by academic training, a communications specialist by profession, and a passionate volunteer. Before joining SDSI, she spent 5+ years working with national and international non-profit organisations across the UK, Ghana, and Belgium, focusing on socio-environmental impact. Her work primarily supported organisations in communicating and funding their initiatives, building networks, and strengthening community engagement

At SDSI, she graduated with a thesis exploring the decolonisation of service design education, and has co-designed and co-facilitated the Navigating Complexity with Systems Thinking short course (cohort 2024-26) and the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) Kuldīga 2050 summer school (June 2025).

Gina is passionate about systems change, and the pursuit of decolonial and just futures. She currently works as the Recruiting & Outreach Officer at The Necessary Teacher Training College (DNS), an international alternative college based in Denmark.
